Well, the toilet seat wouldn't fit too well in a lady of waiting's purse--and I recall that she was in Africa. Funny, how a Queen could conjure up an old beau.

Well, that's a good one. Maybe Philip, although he's ninety and they might be in a glass!

Aha!! you have to watch her a bit. She's so . . . so . . .The Queen. You can never catch her out of her role. Take Louis XIV, The Sun King, for example. It was an honor to be invited to watch him eat--just stand and watch him eat, or dress in the morning, or sleep. She is the only one left that thinks that way. She's 'god-given' and that's her role. She plays it so well that It's great fun to watch her. You're right there and can do it all the time. Aren't you lucky!!! I'm kidding, you know.

I must care, why would I remember it?Okay, I heard it on the news when she went to Africa--a while back. I doubt if they took it to Ireland, well, maybe.

Yes,we've known Elizabeth II for a long time, as has the rest of the world. She never lost her smile, her dignity or her regality. As for the sheeps'skin toilet seat cover, how did that piece of news get out? Who cares? She was perfect in yellow - a true monarch.

I don't share this fascination with the Queen. I am always amazed that people love her so much. I guess I must be more French than I think. that said, you have to admit that, with her yellow dress, you couldn't miss her!

A sheepskin cover. I never thought of that. I will have to advise my lady-in-waiting to get one immediately. I am traveling later this week.

Sheepskin toilet seat! HA! My husband told me that a butler puts the toothpaste on Charles' toothbrush. I think I'd bet bored with all that.

Greetings, Jean. Another sister from SheWrites here, saying hi.

I did not watch much of the Royal Wedding, just bits and pieces, later, but I have always liked Queen Elizabeth. Dated a man once who liked the stauesque kind of woman with big breasts that I am, and he admitted to having a crush on QE2 in her youth. She was a lovely young woman, but I didn't know about her truck driving abilities. Nor did I know about the sheepskin cover - guess that's better than an entire toilet seat, which wouldn't surprise me.
